NCALT continually evaluates the potential of new technologies and ideas to improve learning and performance in policing. Current areas of research and development are as followed:

Mobile Learning
We are exploring the potential and the practicalities of delivering ‘just-in-time’ learning  to mobile devices (phones, PDAs, media players).

Immersive 3-D learning environments
We are aiming to create more immersive, scenario-based learning on screen. This would be delivered as part of classroom training and enable learners to see the consequences of their decisions.
