AND THE WINNER IS…
The E-Learning Awards 2011 were held at the London Grosvenor Hotel on the 10th November with NCALT receiving the bronze award for Excellence in Production of Learning content for the e-learning on Mental Ill Health and Learning Disability Awareness.
NCALT was the only organisation to be shortlisted in three categories. The other two nominations were:
· E-Learning industry award for outstanding achievement – corporate
- NCALT Team: incorporating Service Management, Application Development & E-Learning Design
· Best use of e-learning to ensure compliance with external regulations or internal policies
- Public Order Core Themes e-learning
Helen Schofield, Head of Learning Strategy and Development for the National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA), said: “It is an outstanding achievement for the NPIA and NCALT to be recognised at these awards. Whilst winning in this category was fantastic, being shortlisted for three awards was recognition in itself of how far NCALT has come in producing high-quality e-learning for the Police Service.
All who worked on these products should be proud of their achievements. I would like to register publicly my thanks for their dedication and hard work, without which this recognition would not have been possible.”
