AND THE WINNER IS…
Two gold awards and a special mention certificate meant NCALT – The National Centre for Applied Learning Technologies – had a very successful night at the 2008 E-Learning Age Awards evening.
The 6th November event saw the e-learning specialists take home the gold for Excellence in Production of E-Learning with its e-learning on Sudden Death and a second gold award for the E-Learning Industry Award for Outstanding Achievement.
NCALT made it a hat-trick at London’s Sheraton Park Lane Hotel on receiving a special mention certificate for the widespread adoption of e-learning content, creating success in all three categories it was shortlisted for.
Helen Schofield, Head of Learning Programmes for the National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA), said: “It is an outstanding achievement for the NPIA and NCALT to be recognised at these awards. Whilst winning in two categories was fantastic, being shortlisted for three awards was recognition in itself of how far NCALT has come in producing high-quality e-learning for the Police Service.
All the team that worked on these products should be proud of their achievements in providing resources aimed at improving policing. I would like to register publicly my thanks for their dedication and hard work, without which this evening would not have been possible.”
